Life, for me, is about a series of and. While it might be true that we can do everything ourselves, the honest reality is we need each other. On that note, selfcare needs to be hand in hand with community care.
We built #brunchandselfcare and #coachingwithmutiara as a space for you to be you, both in the community and with yourself.
Coaching has been a tool that I have been using since 2017 to help me create a life of alignment and purpose. I have experienced all the benefits that come with it. It is the reason why I started my journey as a coach.
With a full scholarship from Co-Active Training Institute, I completed 104 hours of International Coaching Federation (ICF) accredited coaching training in 2021. Furthermore, I hold a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), an ICF-accredited professional coach certification.
I am a believer that we are the experts of our stories. With the Co-Active approach, I aim to support people in discovering the wisdom they have inside themselves. I work one-on-one with my clients to support their self-discovery journey and provide a space of care in the community. As a leader and a coach, I create a space for you to connect with yourself and be the leader you hope for.
Available now:
A. Accelerated coaching program: a 2-hours discovery session and 10 (ten) biweekly sessions
B. 6-month coaching program: 9 (nine) sessions consist of 6 (six) biweekly sessions and 3 (three) monthly sessions
Sliding scale is available for students, unemployed, or those needing extra assistance.
About Coaching
Based on the International Coaching Federation (ICF), coaching is a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires a person to maximize their personal and professional potential. It is a process that aims to improve performance and focuses on the 'here and now' rather than on the distant past or future.
Brunch &selfcare is an evolving space to discuss the everyday issue with the lens of self-care. We developed this event series to provide a platform for community care where everyone can find strength in vulnerability and feel less alone. Examples of the topics we discussed in this space were family, money, love, and self-celebration. In a group of a maximum of 6 persons, we journal together, share, and listen to each others' perspectives on the month's topic. This space allows you to exercise your listening and speaking muscles with openness and courage.
Our support group structure includes:

journaling with unique prompts
connection-building session
By the end of 2023, we have organized 19 brunch &selfcare sessions virtually (since 2020) and in-person (since 2022). Based on our feedback form, 75% of participants were very satisfied. In addition, 80% of participants found the event very relevant and helpful, and 91.7% would recommend this event to others.
